How to add products?
This Guide is about How to Add Product Category, Product (itself) , Product Combinations & Stock Page
Add a Product Category
After setting up your brand, the next important step is to add at least one product category. Your brand will not be visible on the platform until you create at least one active category and list at least one product under it.
To create a category:
- Go to the “Categories” section in your seller dashboard.
- Click on “Add New Category”.
- Select the relevant brand from the dropdown.
- Enter your Category Name (e.g., Bags, Shirts, Mobile Accessories).
- Upload a Category Image.
Recommended Image Dimensions:
- Width: 1080px
- Height: 1080px
- Set the Status as “Active” to make the category live.
- Click Save to complete the process.
Add Products
Once you’ve added at least one category under your brand, the next important step is to add your products. A properly listed product improves visibility, boosts customer trust, and increases your chances of making sales.
Follow these sections while filling out your product form:
1. Product Section
Start by providing the basic information:
- Brand Name (select from your existing brands)
- Category (choose the relevant category you created)
- Product Name (be specific and clear)
2. Price Section
Set your product pricing and tax information:
- Tax: 18%
- Purchase Price* (your cost price)
- Retail Price* (market price)
- Sale Price* (discounted or final selling price)
3. Description Section
Add a product description that:
- Clearly explains the product
- Highlights features or uses
- Is written in a brief, easy-to-understand, and appealing way
This helps customers make informed decisions and builds trust.
4. Images Section
Upload high-quality product images.
Recommended Size:
- 1080px × 1080px
Use clean, well-lit visuals with white or neutral backgrounds for best results.
4. Stock Section
- Original Reference: Optional internal or supplier reference code
- Quantity*: Enter how many pieces you have in stock (e.g., 3, 5, 10)
6. Shipping Section
We will automatically assign delivery days based on the type of product you're selling.
No manual input needed here.
7. Online Section
Choose the product status:
- Publish – product will be live and visible to customers
- Unpublish – product will be hidden from customers
- Sold Out – use this if you’re temporarily out of stock
Add Product Combinations
Once your product is listed, you can enhance it by adding combinations or variations — ideal for products that come in different sizes, colors, or other specifications.
How It Works:
Select the relevant attributes based on your product type. For example:
- For Khussa/Shoes: Add size options like 5, 6, 7, etc.
- For Clothing: Choose dress size, collar size, color, and similar options.
- For Electronics or Kitchenware: Use attributes like LED size, plate size, pack of bundles, or sets (pcs).
These combinations improve customer experience by helping them choose exactly what they need, reducing confusion and order errors.
Important Steps:
- After selecting all the relevant combinations, you must set the smallest combination as the default.
For example, if the available sizes are 5, 6, and 7, then set size 5 as the default.
This will be the first value displayed to customers. - To make further changes to any combination, click the Edit button.
Here, you can: - Set the quantity
- Adjust the original price &sale prices
- Select a cover image for that specific combination
Tip:
Only choose combinations that are applicable to your product to keep your listing clean, relevant, and user-friendly.
Stock Page
The Stock Page functions similarly to the combinations section but offers a faster way to make bulk updates across multiple products.
On this page, you can:
- Update the Quantity,
- Adjust the Original Price (with tax),
- Change the Sale Price (with tax)
for multiple products at once.
Important: Don’t forget to click "Save" after making changes. If you leave the page without saving, all changes will be lost.
Key Difference Between Stock Page and Combinations Page:
- The Combinations Page is used to generate product variations (like different sizes or colors) based on your product type. Here, you also select a main cover image for each combination.
- The Stock Page is designed for bulk editing. It allows you to quickly update prices and quantities across many products without editing each one individually.
Tip: Use the combinations page to set up your product structure, and the stock page to efficiently manage and update your inventory.
